Community Etiquette & Guidelines
1. General Building Professionalism
- Noise Levels: Please be mindful of your neighbors. Keep music and conversations at a volume that stays within your suite. If you are using common areas, please keep phone calls brief and quiet.
- Client Management: Please greet your clients at the door or instruct them on where to wait. We aim to keep the hallways clear and peaceful.
- Aroma Control: In a shared environment, strong chemical odors or food smells can travel. Please use your suite’s ventilation (if applicable) and avoid heating up “fragrant” foods in the breakroom.
2. Shared Laundry Facilities
- Promptness: To keep the flow moving, please remove your items from the washer and dryer as soon as the cycle finishes.
- Maintenance: Clean the lint trap after every single dryer use. This is a fire safety requirement and ensures the machines last longer.
- Supplies: Please bring your own high-efficiency (HE) detergent and keep your supplies stored neatly within your own suite.
3. Breakroom & Restrooms
- Clean as You Go: The breakroom is a shared sanctuary. Please wipe down counters after use and ensure the microwave is clean inside.
- Refrigerator Etiquette: All items in the fridge should be labeled with your name or suite number. To keep things fresh, the fridge will be cleared out every Friday evening.
- Restrooms: While management cleans these regularly, please do a quick “spot check” after use to ensure they remain guest-ready for the next person’s client.
4. Safety & Security
- No Propping Doors: For the safety of everyone and their equipment, never prop open the exterior building doors.
- After-Hours: If you are working late or early, ensure the main door clicks shut behind you.
- Chemical Disposal: Never pour hair color, chemicals, or wax down restroom sinks. Use the designated breakroom sinks and proper disposal methods.
5. Suite Maintenance
- Decorating: Command hooks or small nails are preferred. If you plan on mounting heavy shelving or changing lighting fixtures, please get written approval from management first.
- Daily Trash: Please take your suite trash to the main dumpster at the end of each day to prevent odors.
